Outcomes Research

Led by Division Chief Dr. Jonathan D'Cunha, the lung  transplant surgical outcomes group (LTSOG) is a multidisciplinary collaboration geared  towards hypothesis-driven outcomes research covering a broad spectrum of clinical and health services research topics including extracorporeal membranous oxygenation as a bridge to lung transplantation,  cost effectiveness research, health disparities, patient safety and quality. The Group uses large observational data sets together with UPMC data to provide answers to clinical questions at the cutting-edge of lung  transplantation.
